We are delighted to announce that eleven Year 10 girls have been awarded first prize for marketing and fundraising by a panel of judges from the Royal Opera House. These awards were the culmination of a process which began two months ago. The pupils have been working towards a marketing, fundraising and press release task based upon the ROH ballet Metamorphosis: Titian 2012 to be screened on BP Big Screens across the country. In their presentations, the competitors were asked to demonstrate their project ideas, showing the work they had created, why they chose this approach and why they thought it worked.

We hope that all girls are able to attend the live relay of the ballet Metamorphosis: Titian 2012 in Trafalgar Square. The performance will start at 7.00 pm and finish no later than 10.00 pm. The Royal Opera House have been creating a short film featuring the students on the project. This will be screened live at the event to thousands of people watching.
