Junior School joins anti-bullying campaign

Junior School pupils took part in Anti-Bullying Week with lots of fun activities to promote friendship and diversity.  The week started with an assembly on the theme of Say No to Bullying. Some girls made posters to get their message across, some made beautiful friendship bracelets to give to others, and all girls took part in workshops led by Perform Drama group, designed to help children know when bullying is taking place and the best actions to take in such situations.  Perform used drama and stories in an exciting and engaging way to the help the girls understand and use ways to combat bullying through, for example, body language and maintaining eye contact with a bully.  They also explored how not to be a bystander when bullying is taking place.
