Ball_orchidOn Saturday 8 May 2010, parents, school staff and their friends danced the night away at the biannual FOSACH Bluebell Ball.
The party, in a spectacular marquee erected across the school’s playground in Abbotswood Road, was organised by FOSACH to raise cash for children’s charity CLIC Sargent and for the school’s new sports facilities.

Guests enjoyed live entertainment coutesy of Marilyn Monroe look-alike Suzie Kennedy and the school Jazz Band with its solo singer Francesca Forristal a year 9 pupil. Sixth formers, led by head girl Emma Karslake assisted as ushers.
The school’s Bluebell Ball is held every two years to raise money for local charities and for the school. CLIC Sargent was chosen for the support it gave one pupil in her own fight against Leukaemia. place setting

Christabel Gibson, 12, who has now fully recovered said: “They made all the difference to me and my family. They came into school and explained things to the other children –it meant I never got teased or had to put up with awkward questions.”
Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s event and helped to make it such a successful and enjoyable evening!
