Supporting the School

Streatham & Clapham High School has an ambitious strategic development plan which seeks to enhance, improve and develop the educational proposition it offers its pupils across the academic, sporting, musical, pastoral and artistic spheres.

The school’s core income streams (including school fees, commercial revenues, and targeted investment by the Girls’ Day School Trust) are sufficient to ensure the school’s operational costs are met and that the existing facilities are of a high standard. However, in order to achieve our strategic vision, further targeted investment is required in a number of areas over the next five years.  These include:

  • The expansion of our bursary provision, enabling the brightest girls to attend the school who otherwise would not be able to benefit from the transformative experience of an SCHS education;
  • Funding to promote the positions of Musician-in-Residence, Artist-in-Residence, and Writer-in-Residence in a three-year rotational programme;
  • The provision of the highest-quality sporting facilities, including a sports pavilion, which would replace the existing facility, which is not fit for purpose.

The School’s aspirations can be realised only with the generous support of its alumnae, parents and friends. We warmly invite you to consider supporting the school in enhancing the experiences that SCHS provides for its current and future generations of pupils.

If you would like to discuss how to make a gift, be it a legacy or bequest, a regular donation, or a single gift (including tax-efficient options), please contact the Director of Finance and Operations, Jeremy Gibson (020 8677 8400).
